AGSG Health Foundation & Sound Hearing 2030

Reaching Out to Youth: Our Changemakers

AGSG Health Foundation and Sound Hearing 2030, in collaboration with six premier medical colleges—MAMC Delhi, BPS Sonepat (Haryana), Kalpana Chawla Karnal (Haryana), NC Panipat (Haryana), Bhaikaka University (Gujarat), and AIIMS Bilaspur—organized awareness programs aligned with the WHO “Make Listening Safe” initiative.

These seminars addressed the rising global burden of hearing loss, emphasizing that nearly 1.1 billion young people are at risk due to unsafe recreational listening habits. Key experts Dr. Suneela Garg, Dr. Arun Kumar Agarwal, and Dr. Ravi Meher led technical sessions on Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and preventative strategies, including the 60/60 rule.

The initiatives successfully engaged over 2,100 students and faculty through interactive lectures, competitive quizzes, and creative displays to foster behavioral change and promote long-term ear health.
